It's a J.P. Wimille. Jean-Pierre Wimille was a French Grand Prix driver (won Le Mans for Bugatti two times) and member of the French resistance in WWII.

After the war he designed and built a few cars. At first using Citroën engines, afterwards using Ford's V8.

VAG's Bugatti honored Wimille by naming three special Veyrons after him.

It's even easier if you speak/read French, Wimille is best documented in French, especially the cars!

sadly, I don't know much more. All I know is snippets of many languages. I am fluent in English and American though.

Ha, I know about six words of Swedish. I was there recently and asked for a cup of coffee and bluffed my way through it using my six words. We got as far as choosing to have it with mjölk and to have it här. The girl started to pour in some mjölk and said "say stop!" so I thought I had been rumbled. But no. She had said "säg stopp" which sounds just the same!

due to the british school system being behind the curve on teaching languages, I learned a little French age 11-12 and a little Spanish 13-14 but it wasn't compulsory to study it further at a high level, so I didn't. I'm on and off attempting to learn Italian, as I may be going to Italy for a few weeks later this year. That and I love old Italian dials with the olio and a benzina gauges.

Seems odd to have to do a little bit of French and a little bit of Spanish so that you can only end up not knowing enough of either to do anything with.

To be fair I started french and went to different school and asked to do french again but the classes were full so I did spanish (alternative was german)
